Monthly human rights report for December 2007 – releasedThe monthly human rights report of the LTTE Peace Secretariat for the month of December 2007 is available below for downloading.The highlights in the report are the civilian toll of 30 killed and 20 disappeared. Among the dead were 18 civilians killed in Jaffna district alone. Children abducted to force parents participate in paramilitary march in Batticaloa, is also highlighted in this report. Sinhalese settled in areas in the east emptied of Tamils, Jaffna civilians and the transport of Sri Lanka military to and from Jaffna and the status of schools in Tamil homeland after recent SLA onslaughts are also covered.
