Norwegian Ambassador meets TamilselvanNorwegian Ambassador Mr. Hans Brattskar met Mr. S. P. Tamilselvan, Head of the Political Wing of the LTTE today the 14th January 2004 at the LTTE Peace Secretariat in Kilinochchi.
The Norwegian Ambassador and his team arrived in Kilinochchi by an SLAF helicopter at 8.30am. Along with the Norwegian Ambassador Hans Brattskar, Mr. Tor Kubberud, Counselor, Ms. Kjersti Thomsdal, Secretary and Mr. Vijay Loganathan, Advisor also participated in this meeting. They paid a visit to the newly established Planning and Development Secretariat and had discussions regarding its activities with Mr. Jay Maheswaran, the Economic Advisor to the LTTE. Later they met Mr. S. P. Tamilselvan by 11.00am at the Peace Secretariat. They discussed the current political turmoil in the south. The meeting lasted about an hour.
