
One man killed by shelling from Sri Lanka military’s Manalaru camp
one man was killed and another woman was critically injured as Sri Lanka military heavily shelled the Nedunkerni civilian settlement for two hours from 9.50am on Wednesday 30 April.
The two hours of incessant shelling was directed at the civilian settlements and it is lucky that more people were not killed or injured. Nagalingam Shanmuharasa, a man aged 52 was killed by one shell. Vigneswaran Mahimoli, a woman aged 32 was critically injured.
