
Thirteen civilians, including seven children, injured in aerial bombardment
Thirteen civilians, including seven children who were playing in a playground after school, were injured in Udupukkulam in Mullaithivu by Sri Lankan Air Force’s indiscriminate aerial bombing. The other injured civilians were at a Kali temple praying during the evening pooja time.
All the injured are receiving treatment at the Mullaithivu hospital. Names of the injured are: 1. S Siventhan (male aged 3)
2. A Ratheesh (male aged 7)
3. A Yatheesh (male aged 9, brother of Ratheesh above)
4. I Initha (female aged 8)
5. S Joshua (male aged 12)
6. S Nixon (male aged 13)
7. I Muhunthini (female aged 15)
8. I Pakiarasa (male aged 22)
9. S Sivasakthi (male aged 35)
10. J Sarmilatha (female aged 30)
11. K Chandramohan (male aged 29)
12. P Selvan (male aged 48)
13. I Subramanium (male aged 57)
Civilians homes and plantations have been also destroyed by the bombing.
