
LTTE Constitutional Affairs Committee continues its deliberations in Geneva
For the third day in succession the LTTE Constitutional Affairs Committee complimented with more members from the Tamil Diaspora continued with its deliberations on the ramifications of the ISGA in the context of the stalled peace process.
The Committee and the participants expressed full satisfaction and were of opinion that there all gainfully engaged in a full exercise towards achieving lasting peace and taking forward the peace process in the right direction. The NorthEast Human Rights body NESOHR had its deliberations alongside the Constitutional Affairs Committee in the context of the human rights entity’s scheduled meeting with the various human rights organizations including the UN Human Rights Commission that are to take place during the next two days. Mid day so the Special Peace Envoy Mr. Erik Solheim addressing the gathering expressing his sense of appreciation for the commitment the Tamil Diaspora has exhibited in taking forward the peace process. He emphasized the need to restart the peace process early and reiterated the necessity to hold the Cease Fire Agreement intact.
