Monthly human rights report for January – releasedThe monthly human rights report of the LTTE Peace Secretariat for the month of January 2007 is available below for downloading.The highlights in the report are the civilian toll of 86 killed and 90 disappeared. Among the dead were seven children killed in a single bombing incident on 2 January. Civilians seeking to go to prison for their protection is also covered in this report. The situation report on the blocking of medicines to LTTE areas is also included in the January report. Some incidents that open a window into the “lie manufacturing” by the GoSL are also presented. Such activities indeed contribute greatly to the masking of the true human rights situation in the Tamil homeland.
