
Kfir air strikes in Parasankulam and Karippaddamurippu
At least two civilians were killed and another injured in aerial bombing this morning.
 Sri Lankan Air Force Kfir planes bombed civilian settlements in the villages of Parasankulam near Puliankulam and Karippaddamurippu around 7.30, 8.20 am today, 20th February, killing at least two and injuring at least one. 
Parasankulam is a civilian village and there are no military installments. Sri Lankan Air Force Kfir planes also bombed Karippaddamurippu. Two children were injured and houses damaged. Two claymore attacks in Nedunkerny Sri Lankan Military Deep Penetration Unit exploded two claymore mines today in the Nedunkerny area. 
One at 7.15am targeted an ambulance belonging Nedunkerni hospital. The second one at 8.20am targeted a civilian passenger bus. Luckily in both attacks the vehicles narrowly escaped damages causing no casualty. It is worth noting that in August last year, an ambulance with a doctor, nurse and two patients came under similar claymore attack by the Deep Penetration Unit in Nedunkerny killing all five passengers.
