LTTE delegation in SwedenThe LTTE delegation led by Mr S.P. Tamilselvan Head of the political wing, in its 5th leg of the European tour met with State Secretary Ms.Annika Soder at Swedish Foreign Ministry today 11th February 2004 in Stockholm.
In a meeting that took place in the foreign ministry complex and lasted for about an hour Mr. Tamilselvan briefed the State Secretary the current ground situation in context of a political crisis in Colombo which brought about a no go situation in meeting urgent humanitarian needs of the war affected Tamil people in the NorthEast. The State Secretary assured that the government of Sweden will endeavour to increase the humanitarian assistant to the Tamil people and requested the head of the political wing to continue with the commitment to peace and maintain the CFA under all circumstances.
