
Three Kfirs bomb civilian areas in Mullaithivu – two injured
Two civilians were injured when three Sri Lankan Air Force Kfir bombers dropped several bombs in the Kombavil, Puthukudiyiruppu area in the Mullaithivu district. The bombing occurred on Monday at 10.00am.
Two houses were totally destroyed and many other homes were damaged. Schools were closed and children went home in fear. Yogarasa, male, and Perinpanayagam Santhakumari, female aged 42, were the injured civilians. They have been admitted to the hospital. The homes the two injured were the one totally destroyed in the bombing. Since the location of the bombing is close to the Puthukudiyiruppu town, the people who were in the town attending to various chores were forced to flee seeking safe areas.
