Political Head, B Nadeson, discusses the humanitarian situation with the Jaffna BishopHead of the LTTE Political Wing, B Nadeson, met Jaffna Bishop Rev. Thomas Soundaranayagam at Kilinochchi at 10.00am today and held and in depth discussion about the humanitarian situation in the Tamil homeland.
Among the topics discussed are, the incessant aerial bombardments in Vanni; the killing, disappearances and arrests of Tamils throughout the island; and the plight of those displaced by indiscriminate Sri Lanka military shelling and bombing. Nadeson also highlighted that the international community is remaining content on being just an observer to the immense hardship of the Tamils. He noted that the international community is showing great reluctance to even condemn the atrocities committed by the Sri Lanka Government against the Tamil people. 02 December 2007
