
Three civilians killed in claymore attack by SLA
Three civilians were killed and another three were seriously injured when Sri Lanka Army Deep Penetration Unit detonated a claymore on a bus full of passengers travelling towards Puliyankulam from Kilinochchi
The attack took place at 8.10am today, Thursday 18 September, near Puthu Junction, after the bus picked up passengers going to the Omanthai checkpoint and proceeded towards Puliyankulam. Yoganathan, male aged 30; Sasisankar, male aged 32; and Sebamalai Marydaisy, a female are the civilians killed the attack. R Lalitharanee, female aged 28; P Ketheeswaran, male aged 28; and P Selvanayagam, male aged 48 are the civilians injured in the attack.
