MIG bombs civilian areas in MullaitivuSri Lankan Air Force MIG planes bombed civilian settlements in Alampil, Mullaitivu around 2.00pm today. Four civilians were seriously injured and admitted in Puthukudiyiruppu hospital. The injured people are Sebamalai Manorasa aged 45, Sinnan Luxmikanthan aged 57, Theivam Srikaran aged 28 and Suntharalingam Baskaran aged 29.
Five civilians abducted and went missing in Jaffna SLA and paramilitary in a white van abducted a civilian in the early hours of Monday morning. Suvaikeenpillai Vayooran alias Balachandran aged 39, a father of 6 children from Pasaiyoor in Jaffna was abducted around 12:30 a.m on 1st April. Another four civilians from Jaffna had gone missing Saturday, one of them not returning after going to the SLA civil administration office in Colombuthurai. SLA and paramilitary in a white van abducted Francis Segar Amilton, 16, of Koiyathottam in Jaffna town Saturday around 2:00a.m from his house. Sinnathamby Shanmugalingam, 35, a family man from Poonari Madam in Kokuvil was reported missing since Saturday morning after going to his neighbouring village, Nachchimarkovilady. Sinnakandu Jegaseelan, 27, the owner of a cycle repair shop on Main street, Jaffna, was reported missing after going to the SLA civil administrative office at Colombuthurai Saturday around 8:00 a.m, to obtain permission to leave Jaffna. Jeyarasa Jeyatheleepan, 19, a student was reported missing after leaving his house at Colombuthurai on personal errands Saturday around 6:10 p.m.
