
Two civilian killed in claymore attack by Sri Lanka
Two civilians traveling in a tractor in the Moonrumurippu area, west of Mullaithivu, was killed when a Deep Penetration Unit of the Sri Lankan military attacked their vehicle with claymore around 9.00 am on Thursday 5 June.
The two civilians, Rajakuru Tharmeswaran aged 25 and Edwin Jeyaseelan aged 45, were displaced from Manthai West and were living in the Vannivilankulam area. They were on their way to Manthai West to their home to collect some items because they displaced from their homes in a rush without gathering their belongings.
