
One 26 years old mother injured in SLA shelling in Kilinochchi
SLA began intermittently shelling civilian areas around Kilinochchi town again on the night of 25 September that continued into the morning of 26 September. Several shells fell and exploded in the yards of civilian homes around Kilinochchi town.
 In Urithiraputa, one shell seriously injured a 26 years old mother. She was admitted to Kilinochchi hospital. Kilinochchi hospital sourcs said that the injury to her leg was big. The injured woman is Vijitharanjini Ravichandran who was living in Sekkalai and is presently displaced to Uruthirapuram. Livestock belonging to people of the area was also killed by the exploding shells
