
Claymore attack by Sri Lanka military on a truck injures two
Two civilians were seriously injured and their truck was damaged when Sri Lankan military’s Deep Penetration Unit detonated a claymore between Vellankulam and Kalvivilankulam at 7.00am on Thursday, 24 April.
The truck was traveling from Vellankulam in Mannar towards Kalvivilankulam to load firewood when it was targeted by the Sri Lanka military’s claymore. Nallathamby Murukesu aged 31 of Vellankulam and Gopalapillai Satkunanathan aged 24 of Udayarkaddu, Mullaithivu are the injured civilians who are admitted to the Mallavi hospital.
