Mr.Tamilselvan meets the Netherlands foreign Ministry officialsToday 10th february Mr.Tamilselvan, Head of the Political Wing and his delegation met Mr.Herman Schaper, Deputy Director General for Political Affairs, and Mr Robert Milders, Director of Asia Department at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mr.Tamilselvan briefed Mr.Herman Schaper on the necessity to address urgent need of the people in the NorthEast without waiting for the resolution of the political conflict in Colombo. Mr.Herman Schaper assured that he will take initiative to address humanitarian needs by interacting with their embassy official in Colombo. The Deputy Director General for Political Affairs was very responsive and requested the Head of the LTTE Political Wing to maintain the Cease Fire Agreement and promised that the government of Netherlands will do its best to alleviate the hardships of the Tamil people in the NorthEast affected by war.
