
Sri Lankan bombs Chemmalai coastal fishing area
Sri Lankan Air force bombed the coastal fishing area of Chemmalai in the Mullaithivu district yesterday, 10 April.
At 2.00pm yesterday Sri Lanka Air force bombers dropped several bombs over Chemmalai, destroying the fishermen’s coastal huts and their fishing equipments that are used for fishing from the shores. Two fishermen who were working in their coastal huts were injured in this first raid. The bombers dropped bombs again half an hour later over the same area.
