
"Interim Administration"-LTTE off to Dublin for further discussions
A team headed by the LTTE Head of the political wing Mr.Tamilselvan, is scheduled to leave for Colombo today on its first leg of the journey to Dublin tomorrow 3rd October.
Accompanying Tamilselvan along with his team, is Col. Karuna, Special commander for Batticaloa - Amparai. The purpose of this visit to Dublin is to meet experts on constitutional matters and economic reforms. It is expected to include suggestions and modifications put forward by the experts in the final draft of the Interim Administration proposals in a process of fine-tuning. Along with the experts from the Tamil Diaspora, there will be the active participation of specialists from various parts of the world who, it is expected, will share their experience in conflict resolution and handling of post war situations. The draft will be finalized on the team's return to the Wanni and handed over to the Norwegian facilitators in mid October for transmission to the Government of Sri Lanka.
