Judge orders SLA officers to attend murder inquiries
Judge Ilancheliyan of Vaviniya ordered four senior SLA officers to attend the murder inquiries of three young fathers who were abducted and murdered.
The three young fathers were abducted from their homes in Kaththar-Chinnakulam on Thursday midnight in a white-van. Their bodies were found thrown in the street in Koomankulam eight Kilimetres away on Friday. Judge Ilancheliyan is conducting the murder inquiries into the three murders. Families of the deceased gave evidence at the inquiries. Judge raised the question how the three young fathers could be transported at midnight in one white for eight kilometers. He noted that there are four military camps covering all exit roads from Kaththar-Chinnakulam. He has therefore ordered the military officers in charge of these four military camps to attend the inquiries. The four military camps are located at Karuval-Puliyankulam, Thandikulam, Kokkuveli and Poonthoddan Junction.
