Tamil National Alliance MPs Meet with Mr. TamilselvanA group of TNA MPs headed by Mr. R. Sambanthan, returned to Killinochchi on 20/05/2003 and had further discussions with Mr. S.P. Tamilselvan. Prior to their visit, they had met with the Sri Lankan Prime Minister and the Norwegian Deputy Foreign Minister.
Mr. Sambanthan speaking to the press after the meeting said that the group had detailed discussions with Mr. Tamilselvan and were trying to find ways to ensure LTTE participation at the Tokyo Donor Conference. He added that TNA was trying its best to get the Government of Sri Lanka and the Norwegian Facilitators to resolve the impasse over LTTE participation at the donor conference. 20 May 2003
