
Thirteen civilians including eleven school children killed in a claymore attack
Thirteen civilians including eleven school children were killed in a claymore attack, by the Deep Penetration Unit of the Government of Sri Lanka, on a van near Iyankulam, 25 Kilimeters west of Kilinochchi town.
 Being the Tamil National War Heroes’ Day today, the children were traveling in the van to the War Heroes’ Cemetery to pay homage to their dead brothers and sisters. The driver and an adult accompanying the children were also killed. More details of those killed will be published as they come to hand.
