Aerial bombing over refugee camps in Mulankavil
Sri Lankan Air Force bombed very near the refugee camps of the recently displaced people in Mulankavil around 7.20am yesterday, 14 May. Four bombers were involved in the attack.
The refugee camps housed people recently displaced from the Mannar district due to Sri Lankan military offensives. Luckily no one was hurt. However, the stress on the already distraught displaced people has been worsened by this attack. In the meantime, a civilian male, Kaththamuthu Kanapathi aged 28, was hurt in Koorai in the Mannar district in a claymore attack by the Sri Lanka military on the motorbike he was traveling in.
