
21 civilians missing, 17 surrender in Jaffna Human Rights Commission in 11 days in Jaffna
21 civilians went missing and 17 have sought protection in the Jaffna Human Rights Commission in the last 11 days of this month in Jaffna.
These all civilians have been abducted by the Armed Forces of the Government of Sri Lanka and its allied paramilitaries. 17 civilians, most of them in the age of 20-37 have sought protection in the Jaffna human Rights Commission due to death threats issued by the SLA and paramilitaries. Already 61 civilians have sought protection in last 2 months in Jaffna human Rights Commission.
