Tamilselvan leaves for EuropeMr. S.P. Tamilselvan, Head of the Political Wing of the LTTE and his team have left Kilinochchi today the 27th January 2004 to visit to European countries. Accompanying with Mr. Tamilselvan were Mr. Puleedevan, Secretary General, Peace Secretariat, Mr. Alex and Mr. George.
They will hold many high level discussions there to explain how the political crisis in the south has affected the peace efforts and also about the hardships the Tamil people are facing in their day-to-day life. They will announce the present stand of the LTTE on the recent power struggle in the south. First they are visiting Norway where they will hold series of hig level talks and from there to other European countries such as Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy and Netherlands. 27 January 2004
