SL Army’s checking increases at OmanthaiThe numbers of Heavy vehicles to North have reduced dramatically as the SLA increases the checking at Omanthani Check point.After the flow of heavy vehicles especially the lorries coming to Jaffna have reduced, the traders are facing difficulties in getting their goods. As the SLA limited the numbers of lories, hundreds of lories have to station in Omanthai for days. Jaffna Traders Union wrote to the relevant authorities regarding the matter and requested them to solve this problem at the earliest. 03 September 2005
