
The vehicle to be used for mobile medical service was blocked by the Sri Lankan navy.
The mobile medical service vehicle donated by the Italy Government to give medical services to the people affected by the tsunami in Jaffna district was stopped in Colombo harbor by the Sri Lankan navy.
This mobile medical service vehicle with modern facilities was sent in a 40 feet long container to Colombo harbor from Italy. It was transported from Italy in the ship named ‘New York shipping line’. This mobile medical service vehicle was inscribed with the name ‘Ambulance- 5 Pologuwa’. It should be noted that the ship was stopped by Sri Lankan navy when it was about to be taken to Jaffna on Saturday night.
