Armed group killers do it again in Batticaloa, One LTTE member killedIn a dawn attack at 04:30 today Sunday 30 October 2005, an armed group attempted an attack on an LTTE position at the border post in Madurankulam-Kunchukkulam in the Batticaloa-Polonnaruwa border region.The dead LTTE cadre, Kathirgamathamby Selvan alias Parthipan, was from Piyavedduvan in Valaichenai, Theeralan said.One LTTE member was killed in this attack by the armed group that works with the Sri Lankan Military, helping them in deep penetration attacks in the LTTE areas. Retalliating to this attack the LTTE members at the border post fired back, killing one of the attackers and injuring some others. The attack group managed to escape into the nearest SL military camp with the dead body and the injured persons. 30 October 2005
