SLMM Head meets with ThamilselvanIn a brief meeting today 01 December 2005 Mr. Hakrup Haukland , Head of SLMM had general discussions on the current situation in military occupied areas in the Tamil homeland.
Mr. Tamilselvan brought to SLMM notice the various acts of violence and intimidations taking place in GoSL controlled areas and reiterated the necessity to effectively implement the conditions in the CFA relating to the activities of armed groups, which cause these violence. The head of SLMM promised to interact with the authorities and said that the new political environment necessitates time to reactivate the procedures already contemplated. 01 December 2005
