NESOHR conducts human rights workshopOn October 27 North East Secretariat on Human Rights (NESOHR) conducted a human rights workshop for school principals, teachers and senior students in Mullaitivu. Approximately 200 people participated in the workshop which was held in the new auditorium of a school in Puthukuddirippu.
A brief booklet on United Nation’s charter and related conventions were distributed to all partcipants by NESOHR. The workshop was conducted by Reverend Fr. Kanuraratnam, Chairperson of NESOHR. After the workshop participants commented that discussion was very useful and relevant to Northeast.
