National Leader opens new building for paralised female cadresA new building was ceremoniously opened by the Tamil National Leader Mr. V. Prabaharan for the paralised female cadres on 4th May 2005. The Mayuri Illam was named in remembering Martyr 2nd Lt. Mayuri.
Mayuri Illam has been working on rehabilitating the wounded female cadres. Many LTTE officials and cadres participated in this event including Mr. S.P. Tamilselvan, Head of the Political Wing, Mr. V. Ilankumaran, Head of the Tamil Eelam Education Unit, Mr. Pon Thiyagam, Head of Tamil eelam Martyrs Department.
