Bodies of two SLA soldiers handed over to ICRC by the LTTEOn 18 June SLA came towards the LTTE Forward Defense Line (FDL) at Manalaru in Mullaitivu to conduct an attack on the FDL. LTTE counter attacked.
Following the attack, two bodies of SLA soldiers were discovered and removed by the LTTE. In addition the following were also captured: T56-1 (01); T56-2 (01); Hand grenade (04); T-56 Magazines (10); Water cans (02); and Pouches (03). The bodies of the two SLA soldiers were handed over to the ICRC, in the presence of the SLMM, by the coordinator of the LTTE Liaison Office for UN and International Agencies, Thiagarajah, at its Kilinochchi office. 19 June 2006
