74 dead bodies of Sri Lankan military handed over to the ICRC by the LTTE74 dead bodies of the Sri Lankan troopers were handed over to the ICRC today at 4.30 pm by the LTTE.
The 74 bodies were recovered yesterday in the clearing operations after the Sri Lankan military was repulsed when they attempted to move into the LTTE area at Muhamalai and Kilali. The bodies were handed over by M Pavarasan, Coordinator for Secretariat for International Organisations on behalf of the LTTE and received by Kadja Lorenz, Head of Sub-delegation for Kilinochchi on behalf of the ICRC.
