Civilians killed, disappeared and injured on 28, 29 October in the NortheastOn 28 and 29 October, three civilians were killed by shooting by the Sri Lankan armed forces and its paramilitary in three separate incidents in Batticaloa and Vavuniya. Among those killed is a 16 year old boy. Another seven civilians were injured in these same shooting incidents. Among the injured are four under the age of 16, including a one year old baby.In another accidental explosion, six civilians died in Uduppiddy in Jaffna. Reports say that the bomb exploded while being carted in a bicycle. The names and other details of those killed, disappeared and injured are given in the table below.
