Head of the SLMM meets LTTE representatives in Batticaloa and TrincomaleeHead of the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission Mr. Hagrup Haukland met with Mr. S. Elilan, Political Head of the Tricomalee district at the Trincomalee Political office on 9th February. The meeting focused on the current situation in Trincomalee district.
In Batticaloa Head of the SLMM met with Col. Banu, Mr. Thayamohan, Batticaloa district Political Head and Batticaloa Commander Mr. Nages. The LTTE representatives explained in detail about the recent attacks on LTTE members and the abduction of the TRO volunteers.
