Activities of GoSL operated forces – 15 JulyJaffna: GoSL operated paramilitary gunmen riding on a motorbike threw a grenade at the Jaffna office of the Tamils Rehabilitation Office (TRO) on Saturday, 15 July around 12.45 pm. The office is about 200 metres from a small SLA camp and is located on Temple Road, with the offices of SLMM, ICRC, and UN offices close by. No injuries or damages were caused by the grenade explosion.Batticaloa: Savuntharan Chandrakumar (23) was found hacked to death in Iyankernisaspuram on Friday, 14 July around 10.40 pm. Villagers stated that Chandrakumar was pulled out of a shop by gunmen and was later found dead. Chandrakumar was working as a mason. Mullaitivu: Fishermen from Mullaitivu sea area were chased to the shore by firing from the Sri Lankan Navy (SLN) on Friday, 14 July from 11.00 pm to 3.00 am. Fishermen were forced to return to their shore and lost their catch in the sea. 16 July 2006
