Maveerar cemetery destroyed for the third time in a weekThe Ellankulam cemetery for the LTTE fallen heroes (Maveerar) in Vadamaradchi east in Jaffna was vandalized by the Sri Lankan military for the third time in the last one week.
In recent months, Sri Lankan military has targeted and destroyed memorials and cemeteries of Maveerar in Jaffna. These memorials are of great emotional importance to many Tamil civilians.
