Sri Lanka makes a mockery of Co-Chairs call for halt on military offensives
On 30 September 2006, Sri Lankan military moved into LTTE area in Pullumalai in Batticaloa. Eleven LTTE fighters engaged in patrol duty were attacked and killed by the Sri Lankan military. Before further reinforcement could arrive the military has removed the bodies of the 11 LTTE fighters and withdrew to its area. SLMM has observed the areas.
