Ambassador Brattskar meets with LTTE Political HeadNorway Ambassador Hans Brattskar met with LTTE Political Head S P Tamilselvan in Kilinochchi on Tuesday, 23 May.Ambassador Brattskar following his visit in Jaffna expressed his concern about the high level of violence in the Northeast during April and May.
After meeting with Tamilselvan Ambassador Brattskar told the press that he expressed to Tamilselvan his concern about the failure to meet in Geneva. He also added that they discussed the safety and security of the SLMM monitors and the importance SLMM’s role in the peace process. The meeting was also attended by S Nadesan, Head of LTTE Police and S Puleedevan, Secretary General of LTTE Peace Secretariat. 23 May 2006
