Two separate SLA attacks inside LTTE controlled areaKavathamunai, BatticaloaAt 7.00 am today, Thursday, SLA and paramilitaries working with the SLA entered LTTE controlled area of Kavathamunai in Batticaloa. They were waiting, hiding in a jungle area. LTTE political wing worker Ithayaventhan was traveling in the area on his way to work. He was attacked by the SLA and the paramilitaries. Ithayaventhan was killed on the spot. Semamadu, Vavuniya An LTTE transport vehicle was transporting food inside LTTE controlled area in Semamadu in Vavuniya. The deep penetration unit of the SLA had entered the LTTE controlled area and placed a claymore mine on the path of the truck. The claymore mine struck the LTTE transport vehicle at 8.10 am today, Thursday, and one member of LTTE auxiliary force was killed and another was injured. 13 April 2006
