
Civilian casualty since finalizing statistics for Geneva talks
LTTE Peace Secretariat tallied the civilian casualty statistics up until 15 October in preparation for the peace talks, expecting that the casualty statistics will stabilize at least until the peace talks is over. However, the rate of killing, disappearance and abductions shows no sign of letting down. As of 27 October, 33 civilians were killed, 18 disappeared, and more than 50 children abducted. An update of what has happened since 15 October is published below.
