
Vaharai in the east and Silawaththai in the north under Kfir attack
Today, at 9.45am, Palchenai and Vammivedduvan villages in Vaharai were bombed by the Sri Lankan Air force. Buildings that were already damaged were damaged further. People of the two villages have already displaced and are staying in the Vahari hospital surrounds.
At noon today, Silawaththai in the north was also bombed. Three people from one family were injured two of them seriously. The two seriously injured inhabitants of the house have been admitted to the Kilinochchi hospital. The house sustained severe damages. During the first raid, Prashath, one of the inhabitants of the house was injured. After arranging for the transfer of the injured to hospital the rest of the family was about to move into the house when the Kfir returned to drop more bombs. Two more were injured in the second raid. One of them, Rooban, was also admitted to the hospital.
