Activities of GoSL operated forces – 11 JulyAmparai: The Special Task Force of the Sri Lankan army (SLA) fired over twenty 81mm artillery shells into civilian areas of Kanchikudichaaru, an LTTE area on Tuesday, 11 July. Civilians have fled the area. The shells were fired from the SLA Kanchirankuda camp.LTTE officials notified SLMM and SLMM monitors have visited the areas. Amparai: Veluppillai Mohanarasa (25) was found dead in on Gurunathar Shop Road in Akkaraipattu on Tuesday, 11 July. Mohanarasa’s body had gunshot injuries. Mohanarasa is from Kolavil. Jaffna: The Sri Lankan Army (SLA) conducted a cordon and search operation in Nelliyadi on Tuesday, 11 July. The SLA harassed civilians as they searched through each home, causing tension in the area. 12 July 2006
